OPERATING PROTOCOLS & SAFEGUARDS

Biodiesel Alliance & Biodiesel Backers
Voluntary
·
Participation in the Biodiesel
Alliance and Biodiesel Backers is voluntary. ·
There are no membership eligibility
requirements. Membership criteria include an interest in supporting biodiesel
and respecting the protective safeguards as described below.

Any organization in the Biodiesel
Alliance or individual in Biodiesel Backers may drop membership at any time.
Protective Safeguards
·
Protective limitations as stated
are intended to ensure the autonomy of members of the Biodiesel Alliance and
Biodiesel Backers, and to ensure that these coalitions remain credible and
function within their stated, limited purpose.
·
No action is to be taken or
statement made in the name of the Biodiesel Alliance or Biodiesel Backers by the
Biodiesel Alliance or any of its members, by Biodiesel Backers or any of its
members, or by the National Biodiesel Board (NBB) or any of its agents.[1]
·
Membership in the Biodiesel
Alliance does not constitute or imply endorsement by the Biodiesel Alliance, or
the NBB, of any member organization’s views, products, services or actions. ·
NBB reserves the right to drop
any organization from the Biodiesel Alliance and any individual from Biodiesel
Backers. Any member of the Biodiesel Alliance or Biodiesel Backers found
to abuse the protective safeguards will be dropped from membership.
Privacy Policy, Contact Information

The Email address provided during registration will ONLY be used for occasional communications to share biodiesel news and developments on a more timely basis. NO Email address or other contact information will be sold, rented or otherwise made available to commercial entities.
·
The list of member organizations in
the Biodiesel Alliance is publicly available.
o
Biodiesel Alliance members are
recognized on the NBB’s web site, including the organization’s web address, when provided by the member for that purpose.
o
The Biodiesel Alliance membership
list may be made available to interested parties to demonstrate widespread,
diverse support for biodiesel fuel.
o
The NBB may provide special
recognition and publicity about new Biodiesel Alliance members.
o
No other contact information
related to the Biodiesel Alliance is publicly available. ·
The membership list and contact
information for Biodiesel Backers are not publicly available.
·
The NBB may otherwise elect to
publicly characterize aggregate information about the Biodiesel Alliance
and Biodiesel Backers, such as total membership, geographic distribution and
reasons for supporting biodiesel.
Limited Communications
·
Members of the Biodiesel Alliance
and Biodiesel Backers are entitled to subscribe to NBB’s Biodiesel Bulletin,
a free monthly newsletter.
·
Members of the Biodiesel Alliance
and Biodiesel Backers may also on occasion receive concise alerts containing new and timely information on biodiesel developments
that may be of interest, including reference to opportunities to help support
biodiesel fuel.
